The Environmental Cost of High Speed Rail

by Jeremy on 13-Jan-2011

Hugh Jaeger is an independent campaigner specialising in the environmental and transport fields. He works for a number of organisations covering a wide range of road and rail transport but this report contains his own personal view of high speed rail. It provides interesting background information and an overview of the environmental cost, both generally and with particular reference to the current HS2 plans. It makes fascinating reading – so read it.
